The Bot Stopped — What to Do

A simple checklist for when Pilotbot doesn't seem to be pricing your ads: connection, the on/off switch, the safety corridor, and your plan.

If it looks like Pilotbot has stopped working, it's usually one of a few simple things — and most of them you can check and fix in a minute. Work down this list in order.

1. Is the Ad Switched On in the Bot?

The most common cause: the in bot switch is off for that ad, so Pilotbot isn't managing it. Turn it on for the ads you want automated. Remember Pilotbot never turns ads on by itself — that's always your choice. See managing your ads.

2. Did the Ad Go Offline on the Exchange?

If an ad went offline on the exchange, Pilotbot's safety rule switches the bot off for it automatically. Bring the ad back online, then switch it on in the bot again. See managing your ads.

3. Is the Account Connection Live?

Check the worker monitor. If the account shows offline, the exchange connection dropped — the bot can't update until it's restored. See reconnecting an account.

4. Is the Price Just Being Held?

A single price sitting still, while the monitor shows the bot active, is almost always the safety corridor holding it — not a stopped bot. See why a price looks frozen.

5. Are You Within Your Plan?

If you're over your plan's limits — for example more active ads than the plan allows — some ads may not be managed. Check plans and limits and either reduce active ads or upgrade.

Still Stuck?

If you've been through the list and the worker monitor still doesn't show healthy activity, contact support with your account details so we can look into it directly.
